Adam Buechner is a makeup artist and educator with 15+ years of experience, bringing skin-focused artistry to bridal, editorial and private clients. His approach celebrates confidence, individuality and effortless beauty.
The story
Crafting beauty with purpose.
Adam began his career in Sydney, working in retail cosmetics before moving into bridal makeup. He specialised as a colour expert and gained experience in film and editorial work, refining his craft across diverse settings.
Today, he splits his time between private clients across South-East Queensland and Sydney, editorial and campaign work for both emerging and established brands, and growing his education practice through Australia-wide public masterclasses and one-on-one intensives.
AB Beauty operates from a dedicated studio in Peregian Beach, providing a space where expert technique meets personalised artistry.

Studied makeup and beauty alongside his mum, a professional makeup artist, laying the foundation for a career in skin, colour, and artistry.

Launched online masterclasses during COVID, running up to 60 sessions per week on Zoom. Also studied the Diploma of Special Effects and Screen & Media Makeup at Huxley on the Gold Coast to further industry expertise.

Expanded into local and interstate masterclasses, now delivering over 1,500 makeup masterclasses across Australia and New Zealand with more than 15,000 attendees.
