Warm, cool or neutral?
Look at the veins on your wrist in natural light. Greenish veins usually lean warm; bluish veins lean cool; a mix suggests neutral. Your foundation, blush and lip colours should all speak to that undertone.
Test on the jaw, not the hand
Always match foundation along the jawline in daylight. The right shade should melt into the skin and disappear.
